leaden/club footed from the start- our super skippers' shank out to ayew on the left wing- 5 yards, no pressure, managed to arrive two yards behind ayew and they got a throw in. Utter garbage served up by just about every player today. No energy, no purpose, no bollocks. Dead ball- why not give them the ball back- we never do anything with it

Players like kouyate, creswell, ayew, noble need to have a fucking word with themselves if they think thats in any way acceptable at the dog & duck sunday seconds let alone a professional football team.

There's no energy, no passing, noone breaks a tackle- its just get rid as soon as possible

That squad on paper is three goals better than swansea

Get rid of Bilic today please, and lets start over

Swansea looked very organised and solid defensively and will make it very difficult for most teams. Unfortunately for them it's very difficult to attack from that shape. You can see the thinking with the two quick lads and Bony up top but there is no supply. We are so lucky to have Lanzini.

The stats were more to illustrate what the current playing style is under Bilic.

I think the free scoring Tottenham comment addresses something else?

Let me ask a question, which style would you prefer to see West Ham using, what you saw yesterday, or what Spurs play like?

I don't think we were particularly thwarted by strong Swansea defence , more by being clueless

Spurs had 26 shots in their 0-0 with Swansea

Total passes WHU 367 Swansea 498

Accurate passes WHU 284 Swansea 410

Long passes WHU 78 Swansea 62

Dreadful stats backing up what we witnessed.

Yet free scoring Tottenham, could only get a 0 - 0 draw with Swansea a couple of weeks ago.

Just over 40% possession, at home, to a team in the bottom three.

Total passes WHU 367 Swansea 498

Accurate passes WHU 284 Swansea 410

Long passes WHU 78 Swansea 62

Dreadful stats backing up what we witnessed.

Almost certain Bilić is too weak politically to play the personnel both he and anyone who follows us as a football fan want to see on the pitch.

Maybe he's building a case to play more or less the formation that started against Spurs, or maybe he's been told, categorically, he has to include Carroll and Ayew.

Either way, Bilić needs to grow some balls and start with Hernandez, Sakho and Masuako, bringing Carroll and Ayew in off the bench, because repeating yesterday will leave us playing in an empty athletics bowl come end of season.

Renato Sanches = Mark Noble with legs
He kept the ball and looked a lot better than in their televised game v Newcastle.
Still learning the league but will get better. Mobile and neat with the ball.
Swansea look to have next to no goal threat and apart from Bony's long shot and Olsen curling one past the post I don't think they created anything. Will be in the bottom 4 or 5

Re: ⚽ West Ham v Swansea - Official Match Thread
paulon, are you serious about Sanches? He was always available for the ball, always making space, brave on the ball, and didn't treat it like a hot potato, unfortunately for him his teammates are shit.

But then again, West Ham fans seems to like different qualities in their midfielders. For instance, Sanches had 90 touches of the ball, and made roughly 60 completed passes, whereas Kouyate had 37 touches, and made around 20 completed passes.

I know what I'd rather be watching.

What’s he supposedly good at?

A win is a win is a win:

Team is low on confidence and not really expressing themselves on the ball, funny bit is there is a good team there.

Imagine Sakho and Hernandes up top, Lanzini behind, Arnautovic ans Arthur left, and Antonio right...

Mots - Yes, I think we all know that! It's based on seats sold not how many people physically turn up. Great wisdom though.

When you think Bilic has been here for over 2 years now he should be ashamed at where we are at now as a side. We are so poor, unmotivated and disorganized it's shocking. He very clearly is taking us absolutely nowhere, this season is a write off if he stays.

Living what seems like a million miles from home means I seldom see our games live, just watching the game now on this link if anyone also hasn't seen it.

It's not just Bilic, it's the mindset of the board. All they care about is survival and another 100 million in the coffers.

But that's Prem football now. All about profit. Finish 17th, job done.
